Homeward Bound

We all need a safe haven from the world from time to time – a place to get away from the pressures and stresses of life that can quickly become overwhelming. Most of us have a way of escape, yet where can a child go when home becomes to stressful? For families with a child who struggles with emotional and/or behavioral problems there is often little reprieve from realities of raising an SED child, but Homeward Bound provides these families with a network of families like yours who are willing to open their homes and their hearts to these kids. Resource parents are considered professional caregivers that will provide a service to the child and his/her family. Their role is not designed to replace the family, instead it is to provide support and services to the child and family so as to facilitate the child’s return to the family home as quickly as possible. You can make a big difference in the life of a child when you join the Homeward Bound team.
